I Have Heard Many People Recommend Coconut Oil And Aloe Vera To Help. What Are People Using For Their Scalp? Brands/where To Purchase.

A MySebDermTeam Member asked a question 💭

Have people found it to worsen there seb dermatitis? I seem to get build up bad and so I'm trying to avoid any products that may irritate it more. Also to know I wash hair every other day as I get dry/ static hair particularly in the winter and am trying to find a balance to wash my hair. As I believe seb dermatitis is set off by oily scalp but I know I also have dry. Thanks for any suggestions.

A MySebDermTeam member recommended Advanced Clinicals Coconut Oil Moisturizing Cream, available on Amazon. Always patch-test new products and consult your dermatologist to avoid irritation. For buildup, antifungal shampoos like those with ketoconazole or salicylic acid may help.
