Hi Elaine, welcome to the SebDerm social website. To answer your question about food triggers, for my sebderm, it's anything spicy, red sauce, red wine and tangy sauces and fruits. Wheat in bread and cereal and some dairy. It really limits my food choices. Chocolate and coffee irritate my digestion. This has come upon me in later years, mostly, and I don't understand why. My sebderm is mostly on my scalp, eyebrows, nose, chin, eyelids and ears. My face gets red and itchy in the winter. My overall skin is very dry. Arms and legs included. Check out this website for great articles by our subderm staff dermatologist and other professionals. Good Luck! I am adding you to my team.
