Any Treatment Options For Seborrheic Dermatitis That Do Not Have Coconut Or Coconut Byproducts?
I have been living with this condition for some time, but it has been quite difficult to manage as I seem to be allergic to all the usual treatments! Every cream or wash I have been prescribed has a coconut byproduct which only further irritates my face. Very frustrating, but I am happy to keep trying out alternative solutions! Any information would be appreciated!
Hi AndresL, Welcome to the Team! It sounds like U might not want to use some of the Toxic Items on the market Today. I'm kinda like that also. One of the first things that I learned when it comes to this Condition is Acceptance. I still have a prob. with accepting it but I'm getting there. Taking Risks when it comes to Our Body could be a bit Dangerous at Times so ...... listen to Your Body, if it don't feel right - don't do it.🙂
I did not include nut oils, because you’re allergic to coconut.
Aragon oil, avocado oil, olive oil, I use deep cleaning olive oil, DHC, Shea butter, aloe Vera oil, good for your skin, grapefruit oil, sunflower oil.
Suggest Aragon oil for dryness and a moisturizer I have it on hand all the time.
Not sure if it heals seborrheic Dermititis.
Thank you Mary!
Aragan oil, avocado oil, olive oil, shea butter, aloe Vera, jojoba oil, grapefruit oil, sunflower oil. Look all of these up and get organic-cold pressed. My go to for my normal skin is aragan oil. It is a great alternative to any oils. I use the olive oil skin care wash. It is pretty good. Good luck with these. I did not include an oil from nuts because, you’re allergic to coconut. As always, test your skin on your arm or leg and it it breaks you out, stop it. Best still is to call your doctor’s office to ask them. None of us are doctors and you should always include your doctor GP dermatologist etc.
For seborrheic dermatitis treatments without coconut or its byproducts, consider over-the-counter options with active ingredients like pyrithione zinc, salicylic acid, or ketoconazole. These are commonly found in anti-dandruff shampoos and creams. Look for products with the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance to Show Full Answer
