Hi,
First of all, I am one of those people that don't perspire. Consequently, I retain all the heat and a short time later, I get dizzy and feel like I am going to faint. So, I stay out of the sun at all costs. Hydrate X 10 if you are stuck in the heat and are uncomfortable.. My favorite weather is 75 and mostly cloudy with low humidity. Fall weather is great for me.

I find that vicks vaporub does help a little. Also just plain vasoline helps soften it and then Wash your hair

Top pick number one move to a different state, not going outside ever, either work from home or die trying and finally relax (don't want sress and anxiety to reck havoc) use ice pads and stand in front of air, dry wash dry wash, I use ionide solution poor some water to make a 50 50 solution grabs cotton and start painting the area like a pro then I finish off the master piece with a layer of zinc ointment and my mutation just hates it and goes away pretty fast.
FYI. I was just joking in the first part.

Do your best to stay out of the heat as much as possible. If you can't, be sure to put SPF on for protection.
