Hello Robert, I am sorry you have to go through this on top of hemochromatosis. How often do you need phlebotomy ? Do you suffer from joint pains? What meds do you take for the pain?
I bet you must be very careful in choosing your medications, and I wouldn’t dare to advise you. I’ll tell you what I do for the face bumps:
I use triamcinolone acetonide 0,025%, daily, it is a low strength because I use it every day rubbing specifically the bumps. The I switch to rubbing with Ketoconazole 2%. Every day until they disappear….

I’m not sure what to do myself I have some of the same problems as you do. The malessezia yeast is what I have and seborrheic dermatitis is what I have. It’s devastating my hair eyebrows , eyelashes. Etc. And once again I’m getting the yeast bumps on my face. I don’t know how to help you but I hope you can get some relief and answers soon. I also suffer from hemochromatosis which took my father’s life at 68. I’m 56

- Topical Calcineurin Inhibitors (TCIs): Tacrolimus (Protopic) and pimecrolimus (Elidel) help block the inflammatory response caused by Malassezia yeast.
- Corticosteroids: Hydrocortisone, desonide (Verdeso), fluocinolone (Synalar), and clobetasol reduce inflammation but should be used cautiously due to potential side effects with long-term use.

Given your immunosuppressed status, it's crucial to consult your dermatologist for personalized treatment options.
