I haven't encountered this on my eyelids, but due to potential danger to eyes of using any medication on eyelids, I would definitely see a dermatologist without delay before using any medication holistic or otherwise! Vision is far too precious to take chances with!! 💕

Hi Sharon, I'm going to see the eye Dr. next week. He's been watching my eyes for cataracs, which I have, and will need surgery on when they are "ripe". I think I'll try the Selsun Blue for my eyelids and scalp too while I'm at it. That's a mess now that the Furnace is on all the time. Too dry for me. I have a small humidifier that I take from the bedroom to wherever I'm going in the house, so I get some moist air on my eyes especially. Thanks for the info. Which Selsun Blue do you use? 🧑🏻‍🦳

Hi, That's a good idea seeing your eye doc.. My optho didn't diagnose it right away. I had never heard of it. I think the red, red eyes were my biggest clue and of course all the dripping. I have used Systane eye drops on and off. Have you ever tried Zaditor? SPELLED wrong? It helps with red eyes and makes it feel better. It stings at first. Dry Eye is embarrassing. I always looked like I had been sobbing! People at work would ask me if I was "alright". I had to stop using eye makeup too. I miss it! Once in a while I will put a little on and go out with friends. I would start to itch about desert time. The next day was awful. Oh well...I imagine you have some allergies too. My dtr has acne rosacea. Basically, it's acne on top of her rosacea. It's usually in the winter. It's very dry here in MN. The furnace runs for 6 months. Maybe it's hormonal too as I think she is peri- menopausal. Is yours limited to your cheeks? I'm sorry you have to go through this. What do you use for it? Take care, feel better.😎

Thank you! My eyes are so dry. I use Systane eye ointment 2-3 times a day. Any liquid eye drops feel very scratchy. I'm thinking of going to an ophthalmologist to discuss. I also have Rosacea making all of this even more complicated. Anyone else have SD with Rosacea?
