Hello! I have type 3b/c curly hair for reference and I'm always looking for hair styling products (leave ins, creams, and mainly gels) that are malassezia-friendly and silicone-free. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I currently use Kinky Curly, but you can never have too many products that don't cause flare ups!

When dealing with seborrheic dermatitis, it's important to choose hair styling products carefully to avoid irritation or worsening symptoms. Here are some tips:

1. Use Hair-Friendly Styling Tools:
- Opt for a soft-bristle brush or a wide-tooth comb to minimize tugging or pulling, which can prevent hair breakage and loss.

2. Avoid Excessive Styling and Heat:
- Limit the use of heat styling tools like blow dryers, straighteners, and curling irons to reduce the risk of damaging your hair and scalp.

3. Gentle Drying:
- After washing your hair, gently pat it dry with a soft towel instead of vigorously rubbing it.

4. Consult Your Dermatologist:
- Ask your dermatologist for recommendations on styling products that are safe for your scalp condition.

These practices can help manage seborrheic dermatitis symptoms while maintaining healthy hair.

@A MySebDermTeam Member Thank you for your suggestions! I do have to be careful of what oils I put on my scalp, because they can be the biggest triggers for me. I'll have to check the ingredients, thanks again!
